The fourth animation movie of the Ice Age series offers us a very fancy version of the theory of continental drift! Here, the upper mantle convection currents are no longer responsible for the movements of the crust. The cause is the rotation of a tiny core similar to a wheel in a hamster cage. Some other nice features are to be seen in the video, such as the Italian boot kicking Sicily.
Le 4ème opus de la série animée L’Age des glaces nous propose une version bien fantaisiste de la théorie de la dérive des continents! Ici, ce ne sont plus les courants de convection dans le manteau supérieur qui sont responsables des mouvements de la croûte terrestre, mais les rotations d’un minuscule noyau, à la manière d’une roue dans la cage d’un hamster. Quelques autres jolis dispositifs spatiaux à voir dans la vidéo dont la botte italienne shootant dans la Sicile.
